SUMMER Friday Class 10:00am - 11:15am (Session A)

$125.00

Summer Season Class Information

Core Skill: Sensory

Senses are central to how kids experience the world, how they behave, and how they learn. While most kids crave sensory engagement, unfortunately they don't always get it. More and more, teachers and parents are noticing that young bodies are crying out for more of what their developing sensory systems need. Good news! Nature truly is the ideal, sensory environment—calming, constantly changing, and stimulating to all of our senses, in perfect balance. Learn more.

The core lessons follow a steady progression and are organized into three units:

The 10 Sensory lessons focus on: 1.The “Famous Five” senses (sight, sound, smell, taste and touch). 2.Our hidden senses (proprioception and vestibular). 3.Exploring our sense of joy and wonder.

Fridays
10am - 11:15am
Session A: June 28 - July 26 (75 minutes each class)
Session B: August 1- August 30 (75 minutes each class)
* 10 children max

Sometimes it takes weeks for little explorers to open up to one person or the whole group. It’s been so fun seeing little ones slowly feel safe, make friends and see them singing and sometimes even dancing. I get joy wat
This week at Outdoor Nature Kids we marveled at the shapes and patterns of the natural world. Then, we created our own designs and sculptures using forest putty (play dough kids can take outside), nature treasures and chalk. 🤗
